1980 and 1981 Turbo Monte Carlo Info

     Chev. made a turbo Monte Carlo in '80 and '81.  They used the BUICK
231, the same as the Regals.  They didn't sell well because they had all the
same problems that the early Turbo Regals had: weak, inefficient, lots of
lag, poor driveability, cruddy throttle response, liked to ping, poor
serviceability, etc., etc.  The '80 had a fake bulge stuck on the hood on
the driver's side, I don't know about the '81....
     Motor Trend tested one in '80, if anyone wants to see one....
